Where the Wall Ends

Pula, Croatia, 2026.

A woman moves through the walls, openings and overgrown passages of a neglected space in Pula. At times she enters the frame fully; elsewhere only a face, a hand or a pair of legs remains visible.

The photographs explore the point at which a person becomes part of a place — caught between appearing and disappearing, exposure and concealment, the built environment and the vegetation slowly reclaiming it.

The wall is not only a boundary. It becomes a frame, a shelter and an obstacle. The figure repeatedly crosses it, leans against it or vanishes behind it, leaving the viewer uncertain about what lies on either side.
