Suspended Body examines the space between discipline and vulnerability within the body of a dancer.
Seen from above or folded close to the ground, the body is removed from the conventional space of the stage. The tutu retains the visual language of classical ballet, while the gestures reveal fatigue, introspection and physical tension rather than performance.
The dancer appears suspended between movement and rest, strength and fragility, control and release. At times, the body becomes almost abstract—a line, a circle or a sculptural form shaped by fabric, light and posture.
The series looks beyond the idealised image of ballet and considers the body as a place where beauty, effort and exhaustion coexist.
