Between Stillness and Water
A body rests between movement and stillness, between the solid surface of the pier and the shifting rhythm of the sea.
In these photographs, the coast is not merely a background. Water, wind and concrete become part of the body’s gestures. The figure bends, balances and pauses, sometimes appearing weightless and sometimes firmly connected to the landscape.
The series explores a temporary state in which movement has not completely stopped, yet no longer follows a defined direction. Each gesture becomes a quiet negotiation between control and surrender.
Between Stillness and Water is a study of the body as a fragile presence within an open and constantly changing space.
